We got Piper this train set awhile back (for her 2nd birthday, I guess? - and Matt's parents gave her some extra train engines and cars in cool shapes) and it has been getting a lot of play action here lately. The girls haven't been playing very much with their little cars and trucks, so I thought we could combine the two for a nice theme of the week. This way, some ignored toys become fun again, and we get to have even more fun with a toy that's particularly beloved.
Making: Shape and Sticker Train and Car Track Painting
Experimenting: After our car track painting, we did a fizzy car wash with baking soda and vinegar, inspired by this one. And, her tip about adding peppermint extract to the vinegar was genius! It smelled peppermint-y, not like salad!

This week it's fabric and sewing! Stay tuned!
